Does regular jogging raise our metabolic rate? If you want to lose weight, can I combine jogging with medicine? Are there any medicine that helps to burn fats and increase metabolism?
Over time, regular jogging can raise the basal metabolic rate. That means that even when one is resting, the body burns off more calories than before. There are "fat burners" and appetite suppressants which can increase the utilisation of calories but if you manage your dietary intake properly, there is no need to depend on medication. The side effects of restlessness, inability to sleep and irritability may not be worth the trouble.
