The fridge keeps stuff other than food in good state. Opened bottles of perfume won't turn, nail polish won't thicken, candles burn longer and won't drip if popped into the fridge 24 hours before. Even plastic cling wrap is easier to handle if it's been stored in the fridge and you will have less problems finding the ends.
